Continuing Education at Smith + Gill

Building Blocks is scheduled to deliver two continuing education programs at Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture over the next few weeks. The first Lunch & Learn session, on Wednesday, May 31, will focus on the high-performance capabilities of glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC), as well as its manufacturing process, system capabilities, and design flexibility. The second will expand on GFRC fundamentals to discuss its specific use in recladding and overcladding projects. The second session is scheduled for Wednesday, June 16.

Lunch & Learn at SOM Chicago

Building Blocks visited the Chicago offices of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill on Wednesday, May 17 to host a lunch seminar about the manufacturing process, system capabilities, and design flexibility of Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC). The session focused on complex facade skins and high-performance designs.

Lunch & Learn at Suffolk Construction

Building Blocks discussed the benefits and applications of Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) architectural products at a Lunch & Learn session for Suffolk Construction staff. The session was held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017.
